At HydroForage, we’re small-town farmers with deep roots in agriculture and one big idea that could change the way livestock are fed forever. It all started with my grandpa, Dihl Grohs—a lifelong cattleman who got tired of the long, back-breaking days of putting up hay. About ten years ago, he decided there had to be a better way.

That better way became Land on a Stand—a fully automated hydroponic grow system that grows barley seed into lush, nutrient-rich feed in just six days. The result? Cleaner, more digestible forage, grown indoors, out of the elements, and ready to feed—no matter the weather.
